LIVING TREE by Shirlee Hall

Did you ever stop and ponder
How a tree is much like us?
It begins as roots and completes its movement
As arms stretching toward the sun.

We are Living Trees
Magnificent to behold
Providing, Nurturing, Protecting and Giving
Ourselves to those who need care and love.

A tree takes time to mature
In patience, it passes through seasons
Bears fruit and blossoms as beauty and bounty
We, too, are trees diversified and magnificent.

To appreciate and respect a tree is to
Honor and love our self
Creation is a projection of the one
The sun and his rays light our return.
