She is a qualified Reiki second degree practitioner which gives her the ability to practice distant healing on her patients with the use of specialized symbols. She has used her spiritual prowesses in helping her patients, and clearing homes and rooms of negative energy.

Medini is also an Intuitive Healer, who uses her intuition in finding and healing the cause of physical or emotional condition of her patients.

Over the last few years she has worked in relieving others and herself of severe headaches / migraines, stress releases, vertigo, asthma, knee pains through injury, spine clearing and removal of energy blocks.

Yoga teacher with a difference is how Medini is better described. Her background in Hatha yoga spans over 7 years and her teaching experience in Rishikesh, India, has given her the opportunity to offer individuals a more dynamic way to energize, heal and relax the physical body using supports where necessary.

Her background in meditation helps her to bring a whole new way to the practicing of yoga using the psyche to work on the asana (postures) as well as using the physical body itself.

Yoga, which originated in India over 5000 years ago is an ancient art with significant scientifically proven benefits. The word yoga was derived from the Sanskrit root “yuj” which means to unite.

Yoga is not simply an exercise system. It is a philosophy with an aim for bringing the mind, body and soul into balance. With regular practice the individual is able to develop a greater awareness on both the physical and psychological states leading to a stress free lifestyle.

Calmness becomes a natural state of the mind through the regular practice of meditation and pranayama (breath control) combined with asanas (postures). In addition yoga helps to relax, strengthen and cleanse the body.

Medini wants her students to enjoy their time with her and she tries to make each yoga class stress free and work at a pace you are comfortable with.

Medini is extremely approachable and she would implore you to discuss with her over an informal chat on ways and means by which she can make a difference in you.
